About Vickie

Vickie Faber graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Criminology and Associates in Administration of Justice with an additional Certification Aviation and Aeronautics. Vickie has worked as a Crime Prevention Specialist for the Gilbert Police Department since 1999, beginning that journey through voluntary service as a City Commissioner and City Council Candidate for Scottsdale. Ms. Faber has authored two major police programs that have been implemented in police agencies nationwide. She has served as a Governor-appointed Director for the State’s Citizen Corps Council as well as serving 4 previous terms as President elect for the Arizona Crime Prevention Association, a group that provides law enforcement, business owners and citizen’s with resources, training and network opportunities focused at reducing crime. Vickie has published several articles, been a guest speaker at both local and national engagements and was recently featured in an episode of Animal Planet/Phoenix Cops on April 9th, 2017 for her continuing work to help and re-home more than 150 abused and neglected animals over her career. When not working, Vickie owns Faber Motorsports, a business focused at giving females the opportunity to learn how to use tools and complete home and automotive projects as well as drives an manages a Sprint car team with her partner Ben Cluff.
