Canyon Speedway Park is the next stop for the San Tan Ford Desert Sprint Car Series for the annual CSP Birthday Bash. Rolling into Saturday night the series has Zachary Madrid out front with three wins, four top 5s totaling 181 points, 4 points ahead of hard charging Dustin Cormany who has three top 5 finishes on the season and will be searching for his first win of the year. Motor failure last race dropped former champ Matt Lundy from first to third in the championship hunt. Now rebuilt and ready Lundy will look to challenge for his first win of 2018 sitting 6 points behind Cormany in third. Daylin Perreira currently ranked forth, having a fantastic 2018 season with two top 5s and four top 10s holds a 1 point lead over fifth place series driver Jesse Stonecipher .
