Central Arizona Speedway up next for the San Tan Ford Desert Sprint Car Series taking part in the first annual Ernie Mincy tribute race. 2016 series champ Matt Lundy leads the series as they near the half way point. Lundy holds a 4 point lead over residing champion Zachary Madrid tied in the second spot with multi time Challenge Cup and mini sprint series main event winner Dustin Cormany. Jesse Stonecipher sits in forth position with 4 top tens in as many races and Daylin Perreira rounds out the top five with three top tens and a top five on the season.
The tribute race will also feature SWDRA Super Late Models, modifieds and stock cars. Racing begins at 7:00pm with front gates at 5:00pm and pit gates at 4:00pm. San Tan Ford Sprint drivers meeting at 5:00pm. Cost of admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors/military. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $20 for kids. Central Arizona Speedway is located 512 S Eleven Mile Corner Road, Casa Grande, AZ 85194 behind the Pinal County Fairgrounds.
